Description: The Plumbers and Pipefitters National Pension Fund is a $6 billion Taft-Hartley defined benefit pension fund located in Alexandria, VA, with over 150,000 participants. We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our Accounting Department. This person will be responsible for directing a 10-person team and will oversee the investment portfolio, budgeting, financial reporting and internal controls for the pension fund as well as 2 smaller staff plans.

Description: The Plumbers & Pipefitters National Pension Fund is seeking an individual interested in a challenging position that requires flexibility, responsibility and good communication skills.  The HR Specialist will provide day-to day administrative support in multiple areas of HR including but not limited to payroll processing, employee relations, and policy administration, recruitment, onboarding and separation, compensation and benefits.

Staff Accountant II

Description: The Plumbers & Pipefitters National Pension Fund is seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual to perform skilled accounting work in recording and reporting of financial transactions for multiple companies, and ensuring accurate accounting records for receipt and/or disbursements. The Accountant II position performs a variety of complex accounting, data entry and clerical tasks, applies accepted procedures to prepare and maintain accounting and other records, and prepares financial, statistical and/or technical reports. This position processes a biweekly and monthly payroll.

Reciprocity and Research Analyst

Description: The Plumbers & Pipefitters National Pension Fund is seeking a highly dedicated and detail oriented individual to work in our reciprocity group. The Reciprocity Analyst processes reciprocal remittance reports; reviews reciprocal disbursement reports and makes corrections to members’ records to ensure proper reciprocity; researches and responds to reciprocal inquiries regarding hours and rates; maintains accuracy of member contribution records; and communicates with individual participants, locals and employers in order to answer questions regarding the accuracy of records.
